Tanvi Shah is the first Indian woman to win a Grammy and one of the music industry's most sought-after voices today.
Tanvi rose to prominence after sharing the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Motion Picture or Other Visual Media with maestro A.R. Rahman and lyricist Gulzar for her Spanish lyrics for the song "Jai Ho" from Slumdog Millionaire (2010). She is the first Indian woman to receive this prestigious honor. She also received the World Soundtrack Award (2009) alongside Rahman and Gulzar, as well as the BMI Award in London for the same track in 2009.
Tanvi was included in Snoop Dogg's song "Snoop Dogg Millionaire" after her huge popularity.
